Mr. Thurmon is a former U.S. navy submarine officer, and now admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Texas. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Thurmon is also a member of the AIPLA, the American Bar Association, the Texas State Bar Association and the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association. Mr. Thurmon is a former Professor of Law at the Levin College of Law, University of Florida, and a former Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Texas, former general IP Counsel for W-H Energy Services, Inc., and former law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Donald E. Walter.
