Education:                    B.S., Civil Engineering, Louisiana State University, 1974; J.D. Loyola University School of Law, 1977.

Mr. Doody has extensive experience in the prosecution, licensing and litigation of patents, trademarks, copyrights and related intellectual property rights. Steve is the recipient of numerous academic honors including induction into Phi Eta Sigma and Chi Epsilon honorary societies, in addition to receiving an American Jurisprudence Award for academic excellence. He has been registered to practice before the U. S. Patent and Trademark office since 1978, and he is admitted to the practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana, the U. S. Supreme Court, the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Doody holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbel and has been a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars featuring intellectual property law matters.
