Education:                     B.S., Accounting, Louisiana State University, 1965;  J.D., Louisiana State University, 1969.

Mr. Roy is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits.  Mr. Roy was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity at Louisiana State University Law Center and was the Board Chairman of the Baton Rouge Lawyer Referral Service from 1974-1976.  He was the Chairman of the Professional Responsibility Committee in 1989 and fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. Mr. Roy is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association, the Bar Association of the Federal Fifth Circuit, and the Baton Rouge Bank Counsel.
