Mr. Kiesel is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Kiesel was an adjunct professor for patent law at Louisiana State University Law School from 1987-1990 and continues to provide guest lectures in various areas of intellectual property. He has testified in federal court as a legal expert in patent and trademark law and as an expert on patent and trademark infringement damages. In 1989, he was inducted into the LSU Law School Hall of Fame. In 1997, he was inducted into the Strathmore's Who's Who of Business Leaders. He holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbel. Mr. Kiesel is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He has served as Chairman of the Federal Court Liaison Committee and the ABA Subcommittee for Inventors.
